I need to know, which BOV is better and louder? Blitz, Greddy, Turbo XS, or someother ones. I need to buy one soone, thank you

 

turboxS is the loudest nice quality.
the hks and greddy are about = as well great quality as can be expected from therm

not to sound like a ricer, but I want one that sounds like those diesel trucks. Even though I am used to turbos, those damn things scare me from time to time. Anyone have a pic of the Turbo XS RFL?

the air sound from the diesel trucks you're hearing are probably the air brakes.

 

Yeah its the governor kicking out at 120 psi for the air brakes. All the diesel rigs i have driven dont have loud sounding blow off valves, but i would love to put one in. I drool everytime i see the turbo set ups on our trucks.

I like my Tial, it's not the loudest, but it gets the job done and that's what matters to me.

if you want it to sound like the airbrakes on a truck ...get the HKS racing BOV...sounds just like that even at low boosts

 

when you say low boost what psi are you talking about

I had the HKS Racing Type II on my last integra. That thing was quieter than a sissy trying to blow their nose.

 

I have Type I...I am still breaking in and only boosting about 1-2psi and I can hear it....at 7psi, it was fairly loud...at 1.2bar it was insane loud!

 

i have a GFB hybrid diverter valve on my 02 1.8t it vents some back to the MAS to keep the car running right and vents some to the atmosphere to give it the BOV sound. it sounds ok but not that loud.

 

At our Dyno day on SAT....There was a couple of Greddy , Turbo XS, HKS BOVs on the cars that dynoed.....then we put out SOHC up on the rollers...it has a Tial....Everyone was very impressed....its has a deeper yet very loud tone....

are bov only supposed to go off under boost? i have an hks type r bov and was told it was for higher boost level cars. While im only running 7.5 lbs

 

turbo xs sounds nice and is very loud even on soft low rpm shifts. the Blitz sounds like **** to me. its much to soft. go greddy or hks ssqv if not the TXS.

heres my turbo xs RFL from b18bturbo!! i love the sound. at low rpms, around 5 psi, its a nice pssshhh with a whistle at the end.......but then at high rpm, 8psi, its a lOUD WOSSSHH...

after i rebuilt my single cam for turbo, i ran 5psi on break in with the rfl, it made ricers, old people, girls, dudes with loud systems all turn their head in a break neck fasion. the rfl sounds dope, it put my friends 1.8t to shame (he has the greddy)
