i just boosted my GSR ..my first turbo install....my question is about the BOV...i used a vacumn manifold...i teed it at the brake booster line before the check valve....do i need to put a check valve on the line that goes to the bov...why wont my car make boost while revin up the motor at a light...i can only make it boost while driving....

 

The BOV line does not need a check valve. Do you have a decent sized turbo setup? When there is no load on the motor it is hard to make boost just revving.

 

you dont have a dsm, wrx, evo, srt-4. those cars use smaller turbo's. get a 2.0L and a t25 or small t3 and i'm sure you'll be able to blow-off in neutral. but there's nothing wrong with not being able to blow-off in neutral.
