bottom end build up?
I have a 2000 civic si and putting a votech supercharger on. I would like to know if anyone knows what would be the best rods, pistons, rings, and crank if needed. I'm looking to get at least 300 whp out of it. Any ideas are helpful.
ditch the charger and get a turbo..much better!! A stock b16a at 10-12psi will make around 280hp @ the wheels..or 319hp @ the crank...100% stock.
vortec dyno charts show around 270-280hp @ the wheels at high rpm on stock b16a..which is around 300-320hp @ the crank.

jk man, eagle rods w/ endyn pistons is a great set up for the money.. but If you are serious about making alot of power anywhere over 300 you may want to consider a turbo..

ha, even though this is the "Forced Induction" forum, its really the "you need a turbo for your honda" forum, haha.
anyway, you seriously dont want the vortech, its a peaky system mated to a peaky motor...no fun.
proper sized turbo would be much more fun.
for the build you'd want eagle rods and endyn/wiseco/je pistons.
