bosch 044 question: rattling inside?
before settling on an external fuel pump for my never-ending datsun 510 project, i researched here on this forum because you guys know your stuff.
i decided on a bosch 044 and bought from a reputable seller ( not on HT ) and everything went smooth. i received the package today and noticed that the fuel pump and AN fittings were crammed into an awfully small box without sufficient padding. i inspected the pump and physically it looks fine. however when i shake it, there is a light ball-bearing / BB rattling sound inside.
is this normal and i'm just being a worry-wort or did my pump get manhandled by the good folks at USPS?
