i say get the biggest so that way if you upgrade in the future there will be no need to buy new injectors

I sent tony1 a pm about this for my own purposes a few days ago. I have a t4 s366 .91 a/r I plan on maxing out. I think that turbo can make 800whp on the right setup. He has said in the past that an intank walbro and a inline bosch 044 will make 750whp with the ID1000's, and since the ID2000's are coming out I am wondering if 800whp would be possible on those since you can run much much lower fuel pressures. He hasn't answered me yet, but I am certain it's doable.

I am just trying to avoid the dual bosch setup/sumping the tank/high pressure fpr, ect.

Yea he gave me the same advice for my setup... a little bigger than yours i think...

S368 w Bullseye Race Cover...Looks huge like a S372.

I have the same an intank walb and inline bosh feeding 1000 which i will max out i am sure...

he said should be good for a little over 750whp since he made 700whp on an S2k with e85 i believe on the same injectors and pump.

Hope this helps.

Injector size depends on power levels you are going for, how many pumps you are running, and what fuel pressure you will be running.

Narfdanarf, if you are avoiding the dual bosch, sump, etc... then you could always try the Precision 1600cc. You can run the same fuel pressure as you are now and have more fuel available. I heard the pricing on the new ID2000cc, and they are expensive.

The issue I have with the 1600's is that my car will see a lot of street time going to meets, cruises, ect. and I have heard such horror stories about idle/part throttle driving with those things. I doubt the price will discourage me, since it's really the only option I sorta have without dual pumps/sump, not to mention I would be saving the cost of the 2nd pump all the extra fuel line, fittings, check valves, y block, extra filter and high pressure regulator.

I was considering running the duel walbro 255 in tak set-up that is offered by full blown motorsports. I am running a sleeved ls bored to a 2.0 done by golden eagle, and am shooting for the 800hp range. i was going to run the s366 with .85 a/r on this set-up. i was looking at the rc injectors if that matters. I dont know if anyone has used this set-up, but i am trying to avoid a cell or sump system. anyways, i hope that is helpful towards my question, but the info you guys have thrown around has been very useful too so thanks in advance.

750whp is about the most effective range the S366 can do in that size. After that, its time to step up to a S368 or S372 and now the car is being used for another purpose entirely. There's no point in pushing a turbo to reach a maximum power number once on a dyno and then assume that it is that power throughout the entire rev range.

I fully understand that, the issue i am runnign in to is that the class i run in is restricted to 67mm inducer side. I did researcha dnreally like the feedback people gave on this turbo. that said, I am open to the thought of a larger A/R but this turbo gives me the size on the inducer side and still gives me some flexability in hp numbers. Any thoughts on that? still trying to nail down a solid injector size too if anyone has thoughts.

The Precision 1600cc idle nicely, Ive had them in a couple cars and liked them. I see what youre getting at though, with the cost of rebuilding your fuel system.

Precision's 1600cc injectors are the same as everybody elses 1600cc injectors, they're all Bosch EV1 injectors. They're literally 30 year old technology.

If its not a street car and you are on a budget 1600's should give you enough fuel pending your pump/s, if not the ID's have been doing people well, hopefully the 2000's are priced similar to the 1000's

Lol I think this is the first time I ever heard someone saying 1600's idle nicely on Gas, I have been next to a few well tuned 1600cc cars, and they all idle like complete **** for a street driven car.

well i dunno if this info will help but im currently running fullblown dual pump set up, dual 255 walbro, fuel pump rewired directly to my battery with 2x30amp relays, 4 PTE 1600cc's on E85, Blowzilla T3/GT40 .82ar @ 25-26psi..putting down 636hp on a dyno dynamics at fullblown and is currently maxed out on fuel. gsr block with 81.5mm pistons

hope some of this info helped you. im running 4 more extra injectors for next year

heres my crappy dyno graph from this past spring..same set up besides this was when i maxed out my intercooler at 22psi

I didn't know they had 1200's, but they seem like they should work. Honestly I'm kind of in the same boat, but Im confident, and so is my tuner that the dual walboro setup and my precision 1000's will get me to my 650-700 mark. SBut like everyone else said, if your gonna go bigger @ some point, you may as well get it out of the way now with a big injector. Honestly, as far as 1600's go for idle and what not for the street, it's' obviously in the tune and management. MY chrome didn't like em, but my buddys h22 rex has aem, and they got them to work fine, idle and all. Car is driven ALOT on the street, and it doesn't have a driver box. ALSO that's something to consider, getting a injector driver box to help ease of tuning them. The dual walboro setup, or 1 w/ the bosch should work either way though with the right base pressure. Good luck....
