Default boosting with obd0?

i have a obd0 jdm b16 in my hatch and im planning on boost soon, what i need to know is, can i stay obd0 or is it a must to go obd1? im only looking for 8-10 lbs of boost, my goal is about 200/225hp, i dont want to go obd1 unless i have to.. ive read alot about the "hack" and having the ecu chipped/ tuned but its still not to clear to me. ive also found some companys that i can send my ecu to and have it chipped for my set up, but is this all i need?

you could tune with obd0. I am.

You do need your ecu to be chipped, and you need someway to change whats on the chip.

What ecu do you have a pw0?

you can have your ecu chipped so the timing map is safe, then use an apexi afc, 550cc injectors, 7 heat range NGK plugs, b&m fuel pressure regulator, missing link(may no be required if ecu chipping allows 11psi through stock map sensor) and walbro intank pump.

but of course i must say going obd1 with hondata would be a "better" solution.

why not just get the ecu chipped and tuned on turbo edit? why use apexi afc? fpr isn't necessary either if your not going ***** to the walls. fuel pump should be addressed if you are planning on going more than a few psi. 550 injectors are ok, but 450's from dsm's are good for 300 hp.

ok, i think im right then, this is my plan
-send pr3 ecu away to be chipped/tuned for my set up(8psi)
-install 255lp fuel pump
-use dsm 450cc injectors(talon tsi)
all this with t3/t4 turbo, and external wastgate. is that all ill need? (i know normal stuff like bov,oil lines, intercooler, mani and downpipe)
