Boosting...no PCV Valve?
I want to have a dedicated port on my intake for my vacuum distribution block. I'm planning on running it off where the PCV valve connects to the A1's intake manfiold, and just leaving the PCV valve open to vent to the atmosphere. Actually, I'll probably take the actual PCV valve out of the lower hose and just let it vent to the atmosphere. Anyone see any problems with this? I live in GA, so I don't have to worry about passing any strenuous smog test. Will it be fine just to let it vent, instead of giving it a "vacuum source?"

i agree with that
i agree with that
i bought a new PCV valve and installed it and then inline between the PCV and the black canister i put a small plastic T. so when im not in boost the PCV is sucking air from the crankcase(and a little fresh air thru the T) but when i boost the PCV closes and the pressure it released out the T. this is my check *** alternative to a catchcan
