Set it so that VTEC changes to the hi-cam at a point later than when you reach full boost. It is simple as that. I reach full boost right now at 4300rpms at 8psi. I have my VTEC set to switch at 5000rpms.

Why do you want the VTEC crossover to be higher than full-spool rpm? I think it probably depends on the size of the turbo (bigger turbo, higher spool rpm means have a lower vtec switch, relative to the spool rpm)...somewhat related; there was a post a while back in the road race/autoX forum of a type-r dyno with the vtec crossover set around 3500rpm and it was a perfectly smooth transition, no dip in power! I believe it was the stock usdm itr cams, but with an aftermarket porting of the head...

in the near future I am going to lower the crap out of my vtec and experiment. should be fun

Go on a ******* dyno and see. you can't just change it and guess. On the dyno w/ my car, 5500 x-over created a big dip in the powerband right before that point. the tuner fiddled with it and got it to that at 4800 it was a little smoother.
