Default boost'd gsr

finally got around to boosting my bone stock gsr with just a im, around 7 lbs on a t3/t04E. Im using this neptune rtp and could only muster 205hp with what I think is a conservative bs tune...shouldnt my number be higher?? any ideas????

Thats a hard questions. What kid of mani do you have? what shape was your motor in before you boosted it. Thoes are all factors you have to look at as well as the Tune which might not be the best. Could you have made more power than you did yes it's very possible but theres no guarantee on how your motor was gonna handle boost and what your # were gonna be. Give some more specs on your setup and who tuned it ?

Boost leaks?
Dumptube dumping into filter?
What does your timing up top look like?
Compression test results?
Stock exhaust?

did a compression test prior to turbo it ran 185 all the way across...running 3 inch exhaust. motor ran strong before the turbo. Turbo I beleive is a 52 or 57 trim. Do yall think I can get away with running a 255 pump on stock injectors at 10psi with a good tune??

Thats REALLY pushing stock injectors. TBH I'm surprised you passed 200whp with them. GSR fuel pumps are good for >300whp based on their actual flow rates, especially if you were upgrade the wiring to 12ga. Seeing as how a 255lph pump is ~$100 and injectors are ~$250, its not a whole lot more if you get injectors instead of the pump.

To make a long story short, you will max stock injectors WAY before the stock "dohc vtec" pump, regardless of using an FMU/high fuel pressure.

Get some injectors buddy..some dsm 450's or something..or some 550s if you want to make it to 300 with a little bit of room left.
