So my buddy doesnt think that my stock 1.5 SOHC with a T3/T4 turbo could handle more than 2-8 pounds of boost. I think it could handle it. Any suggestions/experiences?

I could and has been done before. Just get a good tune on it. Check out d-series.org and turbod16.com for more details on boosting Ds.

x2. If he has the common t3/t4 though, it can handle 8 psi. The reason its this changes with a/r's is because the cfm flow is diff.a t3/t4 at 8 psi may put out 230cfm, while a gt28r at 8 psi can put out 500cfm (number aren't actuall, but you get the picture).
