boost fluctuation problem
t3/t4s .63 a/r tur, .70a/r comp, .50trim comp wheel....in gsr motor built.
PROBLEM: boost goes to 25psi at about vtec 5K rpms, stays steady until aoubt 6.5K rpms and then boost DROPS pretty quick to about 19-20-21psi. Never goes below 19psi or over 21psi... boost just fluctuates between 19-21psi. We have used electronic boost controller from blitz to hks and yes we have tried different brands of manual boost controllers too... NONE works... and yes we have done a leak down by blowing compressed air into the turbo system..resulted in no leaks. BOV doesn't leak, no boot leaks, nothing leaks...
Some theories: turbo can't handle, wastegate(Tial 38mm) has 6psi spring so maybe it automatically opens do to high boost levels, PLEASE ADD TO MY LIST!!! I am very frustrated and
