If I remember right, you had a FR mani before, right? It has boost leak problems? I am still trying to understand WHY you need two 44's?
BTW: That mani is nuts either way!

I must agree on this one point. However, I can't be so commendful to a person who doesn't do most of they're own work. While it is True that Jordo has had many issues like anyone else whos built up a custom setup, he didn't even install the turbo setup him self.
Small rant... and nothing personal.
BTW, I also think two 44s on there is just rediculous. I have no creep on my setup even with a T4 P trim, and a 38mm gate. It held 9psi just fine.
What did it creep too? It couldn't have been anymore than a couple PSI, or else something was definetly wrong.

Just for discussion purposes.... I have had boost creep issues when runnin richer than 11:1. Lean it out to 11.6-11.8:1 and boost holds. I upgraded my old setup from a 35mm to a 46 mm wastegate and still crept boost.... thought I'd throw that out there.

part of why this industry is going downhill is because everyone wants everything as cheap as possible, and wants to do it all themselves.
what ends up happening is that i see a bunch of messed up cars thrown together, that are unreliable, make crap horsepower, and are just plain slow.
i don't see whats so unrespectable by bringing your car to a professional shop. if you go with the right people, you get what you pay for.
hate to say it, but if you think you can learn what it really takes to build a racecar from honda-tech its not going to happen. a lot of the things that matter are exactly what you'll never read on here.
so, if jordon is supporting our industry by taking his car to professionals who depend on his money to earn a living, i applaud him. he is the type of enthusiast who is keeping us alive.
i know when i see someone come into the shop with a really nice car that shows dedication to our sport, i do my best to cut him a good deal.
but if you like to work on your own car that's kool too. but isn't it kind of unnecessary and hateful to down a person just because he chooses to take his car to a shop?
i hope you feel good about yourself. you are such a hero to all shadetree mechanics out there.

Hey, until you have some experience with making big hp, lets not talk about what's ridiculous. I have had to use 2 wastegates on many occasions to maintain low boost on a high hp setup. Just because you don't need to, doesn't mean it's ridiculous. How much power did you make? Do you not think volumetric efficiency has anything to do with it? Tell me please, what have i been doing wrong??

Just because I havn't made high HP yet (although I have made 300hp on 12psi stoping at 6K
) doesn't mean I don't have a valid response. Keeping it down to 7psi with 2 44gates (to me) is just retarded. Theres this thing called partial throtal. Yeah, it kinda helps in those first 2-3 gears...
. And again, I'm just stressing MY OPINION. I'm sure i'm not the only one here to think this, but unlike others I have a nitch to voice my opinion.
-When 800hp has been made with one 44mmgate
-When 9psi has been ran from one 38mmgate on a T4/ptrim
-Granted all setups are different, but fundamentally they are the same
-...thus my rational tells me Its retarded.
