Default boost creep prob.....any suggestions???

i have an lsvtec turbo b16 head with tial waste gate and w/ a 6psi spring in the WG and a profec b boost controller.....before i did the head swap i had no boost creep at all....now it is boost creepin to like 15psi with the boost controller off which should be at wastegate boost (6psi)....even when i set the boost controller on low boost and turn it all the way down it still boosts 15psi.... so i rerouted the vacum lines to bypass the profec b as if it was not there and it still creeps 10psi on wastegate boost w/ a 6psi spring.... help

That Tial gate is fine...there has to be a reason...have you checked all of your vacuum lines...are they all hooked up correctly? have you examined the wastegate itself?

hes using a ss chrome , equal length tubular , the wierd thing is the car didnt have boost creep until he installed the vtec head , i think its just a vaccum line problem , but lets us know what you think , thanks

yeha what mase said.

if you have a 3 inch dp it can cause you to creep, if you have open dp it can cause you to creep, and if your vac lines go all the way to the intake mani or to the throttlebody area it can cause you to creep.
