Default Boost controller or wastegate?

I bought my car off somebody else. he claims to have had it up to 14psi b4 and he gave me the dyno sheet. It has a turbo xs manual boost and I cant get it to raise the boost. It is always stuck at 7psi which is what the wastegate or deltagate is set at. I turned it left with the key like 50 times now and it does nothing. any suggestions? Im thinking this is a good excuse to buy an electronic boost controller.

Damn are you serious? I could have sworn the instructions says to the left to raise boost.

yeah it is definetly to the left. 1 turn= 1psi. I would think you just have a bad controller if it goes to exactly 7.

yea i tried turning it all the way counter till it stops like the instructions says but it never stops so i dont think its even adjustng the valve. I think either the valve or the key is broken.

That hexhead adjustment nut should come all the way out. Try that and look inside.
