Default Boost controller question

I'm looking for a boost controller. I like the price of a mbc but not the idea of having it in the engine bay. My question is: would there be a problem if I install a mbc in the cabin by running two long vaccum lines through a hole in the firewall? Will the length of the vaccum lines affect the mbc's performance? Thanks for any info.

shorter is better. esp with a MBC. 'sides you're not gonna crank the boost while driving are you? set it and forget it.

the longer the hose the crappier the response time.

or buy an EBC.
