Default Boost

I was was curious to how the Turbonetics Deltagate works with the AVC-R. I know the deltagate is notorious for boost creeping. Does the AVC-R completly eliminate that or will you still have boost spikes?

I just got the DRAG Gen3 kit installed and I have a TiAL gate however, I can't even use it because it doesn't clear my hood. I am pissed. In fact the minute I closed it the first time in put a big *** dent in the hood and caused a crack in the paint.... F#*K. Anyways, looks like I will have to use the deltagate for the clearance.

Let me know... Thanks, Josh

Don't quote me on this but I think it will still creep, it's something to do with the spring/valve inside that controls boost.. the tial, what fitting did you use for the top? I think the kit came with some ugly *** alluminum one and one brass looking one.. the ugly looking one wouldn't clear my hood, but with the other fitting, it fit barely.. OR is the actuall wastegate hitting the hood?

There has to be a way to get the tial to fit.. coarse when we try to shove a square peg in our round holes, it's inevitable that someone doesn't have a big enough hammer..

sorry to hear it don't fit, maybe someone can give you a better idea..

Yeah... it is the vacum nozzle that isn't clearing. I tried using the round aluminum one and the brass one. They both don't fit. I am thinking since the hood is already hella dented I should just use the TiAL and let the damn thing hit the hood.

You dont need to use that fitting on the top of the Tial.. u can just leave it open .... the vac/boost line hooks upto the port on the side... If you want to increase boost, bleed off some pressure from that line..

If the thing still wont clear your hood, put a little 90 degree bend and sit the gate sideways...
