Default bolt on turbo for type R

I want to turbo the R but all I want to run is a basic bolt on kit and I only want to run about 5.5 pounds or maybe 6 at the most if any body as a good kit they have in mind I would really like to know.

drag 3, but if I were you I would go all motor and do what the R motor is meant to do.

oh yea, and there are no such thing as a bolt on turbo kit. Maybe the greddy, but they dont have it for your car. You will constantly need to shave your block, weld things, constantly upgrade parts, ect ect.

i also recommend the drag gen 3 kit. It is a bolt on kit, everything bolts on... but you do have to do a little bit of cutting here and there for a few items (modify radiator fan, possibly grind block, bumper trimming for intercooler, weld oil return pipe to oil pan, weld downpipe to exhaust/test pipe), but dont be discouraged these are only minor modifications.

if you want to do what he is doing follow him - if you want to do whatever the **** you want with your car go for it...

drag 3 is the best "bolt on" if thats what you wanna call it

AUTO-X
AutoX with an turboR is not a problem, I do it 2 times in a month and drive realy good times with it. I thought it would be worse after I switched from JRSC to turbo. No lag at all in small corners.

Turbo R on autoX
Turbo R on DRAG strip
Turbo R as daily driver:
Turbo R is faster in all driving conditions than n/a one.

If it wasn't Honda would've put a nitrous kit in underneath that pretty trunklid of theirs...

I don't have said this.

A turbo R is defenitly faster than most other cars. A n/a teg is sweet, but when you need the feel of speed and acceleration you can't beat the turbo.

but a type R with nitrous is still slow! see what im getting at? TURBO is the only way to really be fast with a honda. even with a typeR.

hehe ive driven an R with bolt ons. it was nice. ive driven a b20vtec fully built all motor in a hatch as well. so i have an idea of what fast NA is like, i know its all different but it still doesnt compare to 15psi of boost. u have to understand something. look in my sig. i consider my car slow too.

I hate it when people say the ITR was meant for all motor. It wasnt even Meant to be modified. niether was my LS. If the R was meant for all motor i doubt sherbaz would be making 500+whp with his turbo type R.

i am a firmbeliever of fi itrs, i hate this discussion . . . but my R will run reall close to your car all motor . and i only have a few boltons.
then i got the bottle to blow peoples minds.
R's on nitrous are not slow, and R's all motor are not always slow.
obviously you havent been in the right ones dude .
anyway . id go drag . . . matter of fact thats what im going on mine when i get a bit more cash . then mine will be turboed and bottle fed.

Hehe, funny. When I was installing the turbo in my driveway my mom came over and asked what i was doing. I said "nothing, just working on the car a little." She pointed and said whats that thing on the step (my turbo bolted to the manifold). I said "oh, thats the flux capacitor, thats what im putting in". She was like "hmm, do I have one of those?" --- "Nope" "will it make my car run better" --- "If you only knew....., now go inside and get dinner ready!!"

True story. To this day I refer to it as the flux capacitor and she knows just what Im talking about, hehe.

right. and my car is slow too. im not serious about the whole ITR's are slow on bottle and motor thing, they can run pretty good. Im just trying to get a stir out of people. Only ITR's i know of running 11.90's(which i consider fast) or better are running turbo. The point of my posts is that turbo kicks *** on type R's. It kicks *** on all cars. and saying all motor is better for a type R then turbo is far from the truth.
