Argh... Car has been running flawless for the most part past couple months, finally get my Drag III ordered and shipped ready to install and I start having PROBLEMS - Better now than later I suppose.

This is the problem... Was driving my car around 30-45mph when I hear a loud BOOM.. I was 1 mile away from home so I drove there, turned the car off and looked outside... Radiator fluid all over the place.. popped the hood.. Upper radiator hose ripped in half, completly blown.

I didn't check my tach if it was hot (muh mistake)... anyways, car sat for 2 days... bought a new hose, once again flushed the cooling system.. filled her up, started car , drived around... bam.. tach was at H.. turned it off RIGHT away... My exhaust is not smoking.. the only recent changed I did to my radiator was change the CAP with one I bought from discount (made for Integra's)

If my headgasket is blown it's not even worth salvaging, engine has a lot of miles and needed to be replaced.. I was jus hoping later than sooner =/

If the exhaust is not smoking then that means your head probably lifted up during boost.

 

turbo is not installed yet
