i have a fully built civic si it made 350hp on 9psi i was driving it hard on the interstate and when i pulled over there was a loud tic so i shut it off then when i turned it back on there was alot of white smoke coming out of the exhaust. all the coolant lines had no pressure.

Either way just go ahead and pull the motor. The tick could be any rotating assemble so be more precise on where the noise was coming from.

You wasn't doing a 5th gear pull was you?

 

tic was coming from by the injectors back of the head it sounded like, yes i was doing a 5th gear pull

Pull the valve cover off and take a look at the head, either way i have a feeling your gonna have to pull the motor. Check for shaving in the oil, pull the head off and check your pistons and sleeves. What fuel management are you running and at wat afr ?

 

i have defi accel i will have to look in the a.m my car is in a parking lot now

 

well meantime, further explain your setup if you dont mind... what rods/pistons, sleeves, etc.

5th gear pull is hell on a motor mane!
