I need a real good turbo-block build up for my gsr engine (82k miles)...I dont want to take any chances so I would like to replace everything inside while I have it opened up.

Im going to have anywhere from 3-4.5k to spend, and most of the work my friends and I can do, it's just that I need to know which parts to get.

 

Bearings
Sleeves
Rods
Pistons
Oil Pump
Water Pump
Misc. gaskets, etc.

$3-$4k is sufficient.

 

Hmm ok, now what name brands should I invest into?

 

Bearings- ACL
Sleeves- GE, AEBS, Darton, Benson....any of those
Rods- Crower, or Pauter
Pistons- CP or JE compression and bore is up to you
Oil Pump- OEM Honda
Water Pump- OEM honda
Gaskets- OEM Honda

i went with RS sleeves.
Crower rods
CP pistons
Not sure if i wanna use ACL's or factorys yet.
REV valves
Skunk2 valve train
OEM gaskets etc...
