Hi, I bought a Blitz Supersound BOV a while back and have it installed. At first it was loud, and I liked how it sounded. But for some reason, I went and played with the screw at the top of it. Now its not sounding how it used to. I've tried to adjust the screw again but it still doesnt sound right. Before it was like a loud gush of air, but now its kinda like a rattle or hissing sound. Does anyone here know how to properly adjust this BOV or have experience adjusting any other so I can have an idea on what to do? BTW, when I first installed it, my car was boosting around 10-12 psi because the boost controller wasnt working properly. Now the car is running at 6psi. Would this affect how it sounds. To me it still sounds the same when I play with the screw at the top. Sorry for the kinda long post, and thanks alot for looking at this.

That's exactly what it sounds like, a snake. I've tried loosening the screw almost all of the way out, but it didn't really make that much of a difference. It sounded different, but not much. Do you think there is anything else I can try? Thanks.
There are 2 springs the blitz bovs come with..
One is a soft spring and rated for 17-18psi max..
And one is a stiff spring rated for over 18psi..
Maybe you have the high boost spring intstalled and thats why its still tight even though its all the way loosened,,
Also you said you heard it make the woosh noise when you were boosting to high..but all of the sudden it doesnt do it anymore..That also makes me think you have the tighter spring installed..
Either that or maybe you have a leak in the charge pipes ..

It only came with one spring, which is the one it has in it now, so maybe its the harder one. I checked all of my charge pipes already, and there wasn't any leaks so I guess the spring is the reason. Thanks alot for your help.
P.S. Do you know where I can get the softer spring?

and just for the record 10-12 psi and 6psi makes a world of difference in how aggressive the valve actuates. so i would assume since the amount of boost is reduced to half of what you were boosting before is the culprit to you hissing sound.
