Not so far... it is not properly set up for 1/4 mile racing. I have stock axles in it believe it or not... a hard launch on slicks will likely shatter them like match sticks. I have DSS axles and hubs for it... just haven't had the time to replace them. Based on the current HP and weight... I think a low 10-second time slip is very likely, and if I am lucky, a high nine. Chris went low nines with similar power and slightly less weight. Work is keeping me too busy to work on my projects... hopefully I can get this thing to the track this fall/winter.
I just ordered the b-series kit with the c30 and can't wait to try it. I really like your setup and I think I'll be doing something similar in the future once it is the right time to upgrade.

Ya know... since I have some spare time because of this Covid-19 craziness, maybe I should slap those axles and brakes on and get this baby to the track. Then again, maybe I should get that pulley designed so that I can put the C38R on and make another 125 wheel HP. Heheh... Decisions, decisions... I can't decide.

Ummm... that is a thread-jack there Chance EG !!! LOL
I think the proper responses would certainly be solutions along the same vein as what is being used here in this thread...
For those wanting to go the supercharged route and keep A/C and P/S, the only solution TODAY is to find a used JRSC kit and install it OR purchase a ProCharger kit. Sometime in the near future, Motorvations Motorsports will complete the development of a kit using a Rotrex supercharger that will allow the user to keep A/C and P/S if they so choose... making a very viable third alternative solution that is still within the supercharger vein. Hell, they probably would be marketing it right now had they not been forced to pause the development, complete client builds, construct a brand new facility and move their business from their current location to the new one.
Once available... this generalized idea that "if you want big power and keep your accessories, you gotta go turbo" will no longer be accurate. There WILL be a choice. At that point, one simply has to decide which path is best for them.
The build that I have outlined in this thread is really focused on the potential of a supercharged "B" series engine and the desire to do something DIFFERENT. I do have daily driven vehicles in my stable that have A/C and P/S... and I can assure you that when these MVM kits are available, they WILL be my choice over a turbo kit to "up the power".

Back in 2004 / 2005 I was the first in the world to put a Rotrex Supercharger on a B-series engine (Made around 400 HP with a C30-94 and of course a 6 ribbed belt)
I have worked at Rotrex here in Denmark, so I had access to a C38-92 CCW Supercharger. With that you don't have to use double sided belt and the problems it will give you...
So here is my 2016 setup that we raced for 4 years and won the Danish Streetrace series in 2018 and 2019.
You can find a video here, where we won the first year. Later on the power went up to +500 HP @ 25 PSI / 9300 rpm on the B18C6 84mm darton sleeved block on pump gas.

For 2020 this is the worlds first Rotrex C38R CCW prototype unit...

Goal with this setup is +700 HP.
You can find some more videos with the Rotrex EG on my company's FB in the "Video" section.

Love your set up. I wish I had your connections at Rotrex... a CCW Supercharger unit would certainly make things easier to install. I look forward to seeing how you progress with the C38R. I have one for my car as well... just need to create a pulley for it to use with my current drive system. I believe we have actually spoken to each other in the past and talked about your relationship with Rotrex and the previous owner of the company and your personal relationship with him. Good stuff. Please keep me posted on your progress.

I am going to have to figure out a good place to host it so it STAYS here... I don't know what the hell is going on, but MANY of the photos that I posted during this build are missing... and I uploaded ALL of them here to this site. WTF ?!?
I lost a bunch from photobucket. However it mite be a good idea to upload to youtube. Thats the host most of us you. Just making an account and selecting a few things per each video. Its really easy.
we want to see an highway ramp entrance video lol.

For video YouTube is the way to go. I don’t know a good site for pictures since photobucket changed things up a few years ago.
All websites eventually die, clean out, or whatever though. Always keep a local copy ready to re-upload if desired.
As much as I dislike them for non-technical reasons, Imgur is almost certainly the most reliable image upload site in terms of not having to worry about material going offline within a few years.

We are all hoping for an update!
Any update on that AC/PS compatible kit in development? I only ask because I ran into 2x guys from Alabama at the Classic Hondas at the Dragon meet the other week. Saw a Motorvations sticker on their windshield and asked about the B series rotrex kit.

You would have to talk to Motorvations for clarification, but the last word I got was because the "Big Blower" kit, like I have, hasn't sold well at all, so they aren't willing to invest any further in the development of the new kit. I guess since "B" series engines have gotten scarce, and quality examples command a premium price...
It's a shame... it would have been a really cool kit.
