+1 to what Anavrin said.
You can slap any size turbo you want on it, just how late do you want the spool?
GT3071Rs would be kind of laggy on it already.
IMHO, i'd consider a GT2871R.

if you want a fully built daily driven monster, go with the 35r for sure. Decent spool time but can make some serious power. 7 psi on my buddies GSR made 358whp. 28psi on c16 he made 670whp and ran 10.6 at 142mph. He puts like 40 miles on his ride daily. Crazy but its pretty sick

358 whp does not come from 7psi on a 35r, sorry.
if your buddy only ran 10.6 with 670 whp hes doing something seriously wrong.
do any of you even own a boosted honda? It doesn't sound like it.

Re: biggest turbo on lsvtec
the biggest turbo you could put, would be around a 72-74mm thats about the largest turbo people run, not saying It is the best for your setup. But about as big as people go on any Honda

Im running a T25 on my LS in my EG hatch, 12PSI, sometimes spikes a little higher around 13.5PSI. i love it, spools and takes off like a rocket around 3k RPM. looses traction at the top of third. and fourth. i really like the set-up, glad i swaped out the TD05 with the T25
