The manual kind. Pick up a dual stage turbosmart or TXS

Ive heard it from at least 3 people that the ProfecB SpecII is a P.O.S., and now including my tuner (which is almost always the bottom line)

It looks really good on paper, but I guess a lot of people have problems with it.

problems; i.e. not controlling boost correctly, and I think I heard of a unit or 2 shitting out on someone and we all know how great greddys customer support is

The type S is the new profecB.

I have no experience with the avcr but the general consensus is that its a bitch to setup, but can be set to work quite nicely

It took me about 2-3 days of puttering around with it, but I finally got the Profec SpecB II working as good as it ca, and it is still not perfect. I would not recommend this unit, I have set up a couple AVCRs and they were relatively straightforward compared to the Greddy junk. Not to mention, the Greddy has no warranty outside of Japan
