Default best turbo option

I have a presision sc6152 turbo on a fully built gsr in a 99 civic si. The turbo doesnt hit full boost until around 6000rpm. I want to get a smaller turbo with full boost around 4500 and still maintain 500whp. Im leaning towards a Gt30r but im not quite sure yet. Any opinions would be appreciated.

The GT3076r or GT3082r wouldn't be a bad choice, but i'm a little biased towards the Borg Warner group. Personally i would go with either an S256 or S258...you could even go a little larger if you want the extra power. The S362 may be another option to consider.

Get a Precision Sc-44. You could probably find someone who has one on honda-tech willing to work out a trade. Usually people around here will jump at the chance to trade for a Sc-61, even if its going on a 300whp single cam lol. You could also fork out some $$ for a GT series turbo or go with a borg warner. Lol, i remember on Honda-tech when getting a borg warner turbo was like committing a crime; nevertheless, they make some nice turbos.

Why do you need to change the turbo? Is this car used for drag racing or just daily driven? The s362 is actually a bigger turbo then the sc61 so I dont think that would be a good option. What is full boost for you?

I'd look at the S258 or Silver Surfer to go up to the 500whp. T4 flanging isn't really necessary. GT ball-bearing series can work, but not an absolutely necessary.
