tall order you're asking here. Real tall order. Could you elaborate on "Bisimoto Everything for the head"? not just parts, but actual head work.

What's your budget? What injector do you eventually plan to go to?

the low compression and log manifold arent going to help making 450. and you sure as hell arent going to do that with 450cc injectors.

we need more info

you are going to need roughly 750 to 1000cc injectors to safely pull that off just from my experience. i am running 550cc and getting roughly 300whp on a stock F22c.

I'm not sure there is such a turbo...As mentioned, with your compression / engine combo, i dont think there is any turbo that will make 400-450whp AND spool fully by 4k at the latest. The log manifold is a good and bad addition to your setup. On one hand, it will help spool the turbo faster, but due to the design of the manifold, it limits the max amount of power available. Your F22 is like a big D series IIRC so making high HP numbers is slightly problematic from the start. I would suggest something in the GT3076R / BW S256 realm, but i'll wait on TheShodan to critique those suggestions...i'm sure he has some goofy turbo exactly for this purpose

I know that my S256 spools fully in 3rd by around ~3800rpm, but starts building boost about 3k rpm on my GSR. I dont know how that'd translate to your setup.

cam, valves, valve springs, retainers
going to get ported and polished not from bisi

budget is no problem/ ive been saving up for quite a while now say around 10000/ probably going to run 1000cc rc injectors

the only reason for that low compressin is because thats the only forged piston they make for this engine. i might put in a custom order with wesico to make the 9:3:1 piston forged(car came with 9:3:1) compression
we need more info
i like the log manifold design so ima stick with stainless steel and not cast iron like many are/ or what time or manifold do you guys suggest. everybody like the ramhorn but it takes a little longer to spool

so there isnt any turbo that will spool fast but also make great top end power? there has to be?
the only reason i want it to spool quick is because my crank can not go past 7000-7500 rpm safely @ probably 7500 just pushin the crap out of the engine and bound to brake something. there are not that many parts for the f23 but thats what i like about it/ its a challenge and you rarely has been done

For your goals, a 3071/3076R or an S256 would be perfect. The S256 would fit much better into your budget.

No. there is no such turbo, that's something that you and thousands of others must deal with that reality. For the 450whp that you're looking for, ask yourself if you want ball-bearing or journal bearing cartridge. Its not just about "faster spool" with a ball-bearing cartridge... more than anything the wheel design is what makes them work well. I've used plenty of journal bearing turbos that can do the same thing.

RPMs isn't the only thing that makes power. But you 450whp on pump gas requires about 60mm or larger. If on race fuel is what you need, you might be able to get close with a smaller turbo.

Some ideas. But few have any possibility to reach full pressure by 3500rpms and make that power on a F22. Sorry.

Precision line - 5857 comes to mind
Garrett and STC lines - Silver "Surfer" and Silver "Bullitt" 60mm billet for Journal bearing
GT3076R possible in Ball-bearing cartridge
Borg-Warner lines - S258 comes to mind more than anything else.

im thinking of the borg warner just because ive read on many forums that its a pretty well built turbo and will last u a long time
but i was thinking of the s256 just because it will spool faster than the s258 and thebs256 can make up to 500whp which i doubt my engine could handle. realistically i think ima make 420-430 whp tops
also which A/R should i run?
thinkin about .70
also have you guys heard about the s256 twin scroll? where do i get that?

Get the S256 in a .70ar V-band. Thats the exact turbo I have and I couldnt be happier with it. Also, the Borg Warner spool sounds simply amazing. All performance aside, the sound of my S256 has me hooked. It's the perfect "dentist drill" spool...if only i had a video with good sound quality to show you...

Funny now how after over 6 years of me pushing them, people finally understand. Let me know of questions with the S256, including compression maps, different flanging sizes, etc. The smallest exhaust wheel for the S256 (like the one pictured) is a P-trim wheel, which is a little large, but can work very well. That only comes as a 4 / 5 bolt. Onlny the .70A/R is a v-band.

"Just because it has a divided housing does not make it a damn "Twin Scroll". People need to quit using buzz words they don't understand"
thanx for clarifying man/ i thought that 2 until now lol
so the s256 twin scroll .83 A/R i think would be the best turbo for me
do you have the maps for that 1
also can i see the map for .70A/R v-band

You quote my sig, and didn't follow it. hehe. You do not want a divided housing at all (That is for T4 flanging). With that housing that is much too big, using a turbine wheel much too big.

The compressor map is strictly for that; the compressor. Not the turbine. PM me your e-mail address so that I can send you information.

Honestly, the only problem that you may face is that most "kits" that are available do not account for the use of borg-warner turbochargers. The cartridge length is different than a Garrett turbocharger (which is typical for 99 percent of the "kits" available), and the V-band would need to be purchased and welded to a downpipe specifically made for that turbo. What most have done if they are not a normal dealer for Borg-Warner, is that you would need to ship your turbocharger to the company you plan to get the rest of your kit from.

That's for your tuner and your power goals to decide. Many turbos can fit the bill. Its more of HOW you want the power as much as HOW MUCH POWER you're looking for.
