You've got a lot of work there. Please give us a bit more about the hp goal you're trying to acheive. There are plenty of big race turbos that go 400+, but you need to be a bit more specific. That way myself and others can be of better assistance.

GT4088 journal bearing.....it depends on your budget really

I would get something large so that when you blow it up and decide to sleeve it, you have a turbo that is going to meet your new needs

....the last turbo that the tuner here priced for me was around $1300 so i guess since i already have an about price i would like to stay around there

im looking to make 400+hp...thats pretty specific if you ask me..
anything that makes that number fairly easy

On race gas you could make 400hp with the majority of turbos out there.

if you want 400hp to the crank id go with a GT2871R, but if you want upgradeable hp id go with a GT3071R or GT3076R. I only go by garrett because they are proven to work for years without rebuilds (the ball bearing turbos atleast)

What we're trying to say is that 400+ hp can be done by about 20 different types of turbos depending upon the boost pressure and what has been done to the motor. The reason why many of us seem sarcastic is because you're not being specific. HOW YOU want the power, what RPM range, what its used for, If you want Journal bearing or ball-bearing cartridge; What budget do you want to use. Size flanging, etc, etc. These need to be thought through and expressed before you simply give a remark like "400+whp; sounds specific enough to me". I hate to sound like someone's dad, but comments like that just don't get everyone on their good side to help out as much as possible.

and that why i asked for OPINIONS....................................if i could answer those questions then i would be asking, now would i. what is done to the motor has been listed on the first post, its for a race car ( that was listed too), umm budget was mentioned...(around $1300), my full-race manifold has a t3 flange but can cut and weld another t4 flange if the turbo bought is needed to work(listed), dont plan on goind past 9k rpm, and that one wasnt listed..

Very interesting.

Anyway, then we can assume this is for an all out race car. And race as in 1/4 mile drag correct? Assuming that you want to run the 400+whp on the stock sleeves then keep the same turbo after you sleeve, **** I guess we can assume that you want ~600whp or so on the sleeved block? Off the top of my head I would say maybe a gt3582r?? I have never really considered a turbo that large, so I have not done much research down that avenue. It would really help you out if you would go through the FAQ's in this forum and learn some valuable information regarding turbocharging your engine. Then you would have a much better foundation for asking a well thought out question. And people would likely be much more willing to offer usable advice. Just a thought. GL.

If you plan on making 700whp on the next project the GT3767S will be the best bet i think, Stan from Fast-Turbo made 700whp+ with one on hi´s 2L setup.
