Drag gen three. I own one. I love it eccept for the tiny fmitc. On second thought go custom. If I could do it again!!!!

You can pic everything out you want... Best ****!!! it ussually comes out cheeper if you know lots of people.. My friend crxbart is puting together a custom kit and it will anihilate my drag kit in quality....

 

from what i heard rev hard is the best. im goin greddy i think juss for the carb number in smog **** california

 

the "best" depends on your application. if you're going to drag race, like at the track and not drive on the street, then the greddy wont offer the peak power u want. but if its a street car, then the greddy is a very appealing option. especially in CA

 

I have had a couple.

Drag 3 pros, IMO

Nice piping, good blow off valve, fits together relativly well, includes basicly everything you need.

Cons: Manifold sucks, DP sucks...turbo is so so, IC design is not all that great.

Max Rev Pros

Very Nice DP, very nice manifold, nice turbo, good IC, low price.

Cons: Not sure on the BOV, IC piping needs to be welded together ,doesn't include dump tube, or intake piping or filter.

Overall I am very impressed with the max rev kit...I haven't installed it yet, but from the looks of things so far I am glad with the choice I made.

It is more for the do it yourselfer....

 

i would have to say full-race, ****** best manifold i have seen for the street. its designed to be the last kit you'll ever buy, all parts god for serious hp. take a look at full-race.com

 

dont you loss your AC with teh full-race kit

DRAG Gen 3 sucks. Do a search in the archives for "Turbo Kit War" there was a big dicussion about how much drag sucks.

 

I am VERY impressed by my Max Rev BOV....i love it!

 

the MaxRev valve is small but potent.

Ditto..IMO for a KIT I would recommend Ravhard. Nothing beats DIY though.

 

Rev-hard or greddy. It all depends on what hp range your looking for. I like the greddy kit, but i wanted more power so i went with rev-hard and hondata.

 

Build your own kit, you will get the best results, if you don't feel like it or don't know enough go with rev-hard, they make the best kits for highler horsepower output systems. Greddy is reliable but doesn'y make as much power. If you build your own kit, go with hondata, your car will feel like it came turbo from the factory.

I have drag gen 3 kits on my sol and my teg. I think they are great kits, but I do think the drag mani sux. it is currently cracking on my teg. It's good to go custom, but piecing stuff together could get kinda tedious. just check out all the different kits out there, and make the best choice for yourself.

either way, you cant go wrong w/ turbo power!
