i have a ACT Streetlite w/ ACT Extreme Plate & Street Disc. Pedal is not that heavy, definately streetable, and can hold your power with room to grow.........check it out for yourself though

you don't need the flywheel really.....get a good clutch, don't waste money on one that you will need to upgrade when you want more power.......

You don't need to upgrade your flywheel, Get your stock one resurfaced and buy a quality clutch....

A lighter flywheel will make it easier for your motor to rev up faster. Some people hate lightened flywheels on turbo cars. A stock one will be perfectly fine though. If your on a budget either wait and save up or just forget the flywheel.

It's cheaper, but isn't really daily driver freindly, yes you can accelerate faster, but it depends on what kind of driving you do to say what flywheel to get. but don't buy a cheap *** clutch to afford a flywheel. A lot of people actually prefer the stock flywheel for daily driving. You need to research this on your own, and make an educated decision for yourself.

Just put it this way, I told you what combo I'm using and I like it alot, Some else on here may have the same setup and hate it. There is no one answer to your question...

So basically I should just get my flywheel resurface and get an ACT clutch.

The thing is that my friend has a hard clutch pedal, but he's not sure what

kind it is. I don't want a pedal like that, I want my pedal to feel like the

stock one. I thought that the ACT extreme all have hard pedal?

In my last integra i had the ACT extreme pressure plate and stock resurfaced flywheel, The pedal was kinda hard but you get used to it, it felt extra hard after driveing another car with a stock pressure plate.
I think this time i'm gonna try the heavy duty pressure plate, it has a little less clamping power so hopefully it will be a little easier on the leg. . . lol

Anyone have the heavy duty pressure plate instead of the extreme pressure plate?
notice any difference?

1 thing that makes a difference in peddle stiffness is if ur car has a hydro or cable tranny. the cables w/ aftermarket clutch are a lot stiffer than a hydro with an aftermarket clutch.

a friend of mine has a 91 ls with a 95 gsr motor. cable tranny/act streetlight/ and some type of 6 puck clutch, (not sure on the exact brand), but his clutch peddle is very stiff.

me however, 99 civic ex. w/ h22a4. hydro tranny, act prolight/ and act 6 puck, my peddle isnt hardly any stiffer than it was stock, it just grabs a lot harder now. and with the flywheel, i love it, it just takes some getting use to.

hope that helps ya
