Best ECU for Uberdata?
I have searched and cant find exactly what I am looking for. I have a 2000 si and want to run uberdata, so I know that I need to swap back to OBD1. My question is which ECU is best? The p28 is alot cheaper, but lacks the knock sensor. Is this a big deal or is it ok to run the p28 and forget about the knock sensor? Also are there any other options for ECU's for me besides the p28 or p72?
Thanks,
Craig

Craig

Re: Best ECU for Uberdata? (VanHonda)
**** a Honda KS, the implementation of it makes it for adjusting ignition timing under cruise to avoid NOx production and get Honda more LEV ratings. It has absolutely nothing to do with engine safety, tuning, or how your car runs; the ECU ignores it at WOT or above 5000 rpms.

you could also run a p30. those also have knock sensors (came from vtec delsols). but like j davis said... who cares? get whats cheapest of those 3. wich will probably be the p28.

P07 is odd duck, the second MCU that controlls WBO2 input polls the primary MCU with interrupts that make it run wierd. VTEC transition is erratic and upper revs are soggy, IME.
