Best dseries blockguard?
what is the best d series block guard?
there is one i have seen, here it is.
Turbopanda told me that the holes wont match up with the head gasket.

i have also heard of people using an
str blockguard (i dont even know what str stands for) and
golden eagle blockguard
what is your opinion on the best d series block guard? and where can i find it

all blockguards work in the same way so brands IMO don't matter too much(i'm using a STR one though), it's all in the installation...the best way to install it in my opinion is to weld it in at least 1/2" from the top of the block so you can utilize all the openings on the blockguard. this way you won't have to worry about not lining up the holes to the headgasket holes. this is what i did to my motor and my lil bro's motor and so far so good, no over heating at all. i boost 17.5 psi on my motor on race gas every now and then, and boost 15 psi on pump gas daily and so far it's been holding pretty nicely. just remember to bore/hone the cylinder walls after installation.
