Hey i was just wondering if someone could tell me what the best car to boost would be for the price range, im looking to buy a car for about 7 to 8 grand, and then spend another 5 grand on the turbo kit and installation, any suggestions?

 

Save up some more pennies and buy an s2000, then boost it.

They are very fun street cars with great stock motors :-)

 

I know but i would have to drop a lot of money on the s2k as well as the turbo kit to make it reliable, due to the high compresion ratio of the f20 engine, i was thiking a prelude?

 

s2k/f20 comp is fine w/todays fuels, technology & tuning knowledge....5 years ago..yea not so much..but high comp boosted engines are often encouraged now a days.

Boosted s2k would be fun for sure.

 

I agree with ^.. But we need more info to what your expecting or looking for out of a boosted car...

 

I say hell no on the prelude because i'm not an H series person I like the B series but thats just my opinion. Why not just buy a motor buy a shell and then buy the turbo set up? It would be cheaper than buying a complete car If you do your own work...
