best cams for nitrous??
alright heres my dilemma, im trying to figure out which cams would be best for me to use for my nitrous setup. i was thinking maybe pro 1's or pro 2's maybe someone can help me out heres what my setup consist of....
its a sleeved gsr block bored out to 83mm 11:1 CP pistons, pauter rods, serviced LS crank, gsr head with supertech springs and retainers, hytech rep headers, 3in. piping, edelbrock intake manifold with 75mm t/b and a 4fogger system
im looking to actually do a 75-100 shot single fogger out the hole and then use the 4fogger with a 200-250 shot.
if you guys have any useful info please throw it my way, thanks

Was running endyn bumpsticks (very similar to jun3's, skunk2 stage 2). Was a gsr with b16 pistons (11.5 ish). Made 246 on a 100shot on a dyno that I know is notorious for reading low. Went 12's in a lightened integra
i found my dyno sheet last night made 199.1 hp and 138.1tq allmotor on nitrous the car made 230.7hp and 188.4 tq thats with a zex kit 55 shot. not bad. you dont want to big of a cam for nitrous . it would be like blow by.

If you are going to port the head I would run the pro 2's if not then the pro 1's. Also the Victor X is not the best choice for a mani for your setup its going to push your powerband up to around the 6k mark. I hope you plan on using a deticated fuel system for this N20 setup.
pro 1's will work fine but they are right about the manifold its to big for your setup the skunk2 pro manifold would work great . you could sell the victor x and pickup the skunk 2 manifold and still have alittle money left.
yea ghostfonyc explained the manifold situation to me. ima see if i can get rid of the manifold with the t/b cuz its a 75mm t/b which is probably no good for me either
what i would do is sell the manifold and throttlebody and get a stock one and send it to max bore for $100. he'll port it out to 2mm bigger then an itr throttlebody and it comes with a life time warranty. you cant beat that. and pick up an hondadta manifold gasket and a p2p throttlebody gasket at the same time they are cheap $75 for both.or you could just get the p2p manifold gasket then he would cut you a better deal. you should be able to pickup all that stuff and still have a little money in your pocket after you sell the manifold and throttlebidy you have.

im going to just trade one of my friends since he decided to do a big turbo setup and needs my manifold and I decided to do nitrous he has the skunk2 pro series mani im just gonna get it port matched for my head
