best BOV
Best functional BOVs are pull types, such as the HKS SSQV. I believe the SARD R2D2 is a pull type as well. Not implying that the rest of them dont work well, but there is less chance for the BOV to leak under pressure, not that it matters for your Hondas that run MAP sensors after the throttle body anyways.

i like my greddy type s. the bov seems a lil played out here on honda-tech but it seemed to have met everyones satisfaction. i've heard the tial one to be one of the best perfroamance wise but a greddy type S or even the newer type RS works just as good. personal preference on how it sounds is also a consideration. there really is no "best" you cant go wrong with the greddy type S, type RS, HKS SSQV, Blitz DD, or Tial. its actually a matter of what bov you shouldn't get and i would have to say the RFL offered by TurboXS. i heard that bov has the tendency to leak boost

RFL and it works great. I've even used the ebay knockoff RFL's w/ great success. If it doesn't hold just open the top and throw some more washers in

if you are lookin for the loudest now, the RFL is the loudest but not the best because you have to sacrifice performance for sound. or modify the RFL like hondaguyef said. you might as well get two BOVs one for the best perforamance wise and one for the loudest, you prolly wont be satisfied with the RFL for that long.

if you are looking to run alot more boost i would go with the tial it has a 50mm exit hole while the greddy and a few others only have a 39mm which makes them not work as well. Of course no one iwllever notice this difference but thought i would point it out. BTW i have a greddy type rs and love it have had any problems

i was thinking....it might not be so bad to bleed of "all" the boost...with a bigger valve...because it's only like a half second...if you let all the boost out..its gonna take longer to build it back up...vs running a smaller BOV that only lets 2/3 of the boost out...making faster spool
what do you think??
