Default Best base for supercharger?

Hey,

What car would make the best base for a supercharger? Don't really see many supercharged Hondas but I know there out there. Oh yeah, no GSR's, Preludes, or anything newer than 2001.

Thanks!

Hey,

No gsr's? That right there is the best base for a supercharger. Why would you ask a question, and then eliminate possibilities

Nearly all of my friends, have them, just one of the cars that I really don't want. I like being...unique.

This annoys me when I hear it, people love talking about being differnt, I espically love to hear it from peopel who went turbo sohc over turbo B series, or all motor over turbo. I guess being slower is differnt.

Any V8 motor.

4 cylinder motors suck *** when it comes to supercharging them because it takes power to make power with a blower. Depending upon what size supercharger is used I've seen the blower take 75-100whp to turn to make boost. So that means until you hit boost and overcome the losses of the supercharger you can lose horsepower. 8lbs of boost on a turbo vs a supercharger you'll make more overall power with a turbo because it has very little in the way of parasitic losses.

There's the reason why you don't see many 4 cyl supercharged setups. If you want to be different how about you get a sex change operation or something instead. Might possibly make more sense than putting a blower on a 4 cyl.

Yup, and why people just don't buy an LS1 is just beyond me too.
