Default Best Axles for Boost

Dont know if I have the right forum or not...what would you guys reccomend for my em1 as far as axles for a daily driver. I want to upgrade from stock. I currently make around 305whp on stock tranny and hasport mounts. Just looking for a stron daily/occasional fun run at the track axle. Gator? DSS? opinions? experiences?

thanks

I say pep boys because it always seem like there bound to break, and they give you free replacements. They also dont ask questions its always "thanks and have a nice day". They are stock replacement axels but they also don't break as much as you think they do.

I'm thinking about going with Gator axles but the lifetime warranty on those Autozone axles are soo tempting. But I'm sure I'll probably get sick of replacing them everytime I break 'em.

If the car is a daily driver, you've got to consider if you really want bigger, heavier, stronger drive axles on your car at all times. Personally I kind of think big axles are for drag cars, but if you like to constantly launch the car like you're trying to break something, maybe stronger axles are a good idea.

btw I am not speaking from experience so take what I've said how you will.

Good luck

$300 for a set of brand new ones that are stonger than stock ones.
I have a set. No complaints from me. And the guy I talked to was very helpful.

I'm running a set of $1000 DSS axles for street and strip. They seem to work good for me.

im using honda oem axles, 400 whp and 275 wtq. 11.6 sec 1/4 mile @ 124.8.

its been working fine for me, untill I start braking those, there is no reason for me to upgrade. 98ctr

Those axles suck if the car gets any time at the 1/4 track. Also, ask BoostedCivicSedan about that "warranty". They said they couldn't provide him with any more axles because "his car has a problem and our records show 32 axles being exchanged". Save some money and buy DSS or Gator axles.
