Soley for information purposes. long reading

So, i am looking for a intake manifold for my turbo build. Edelbrock is common i know but i was like hell i will try the BBK out.
I get it. Looks great. It doesn't look any worse or better than the edelbrock my friend used (as far as casting and finish).
I start putting things together (everything fit great) go to put it on my B16 head and BAM!!!! thing don't fit.
Has anybody else used this manifold? on a b16?
I searched and there where people back in the day using it but they said it was for a GSR motor.
BBK says something different!

Starting with lightweight 356 aluminum casting, each intake manifold is fully computer machined for OEM quality levels and features a standard 70mm throttle body opening to accept units such as our popular Power Plus Series performance throttle bodies. This manifold comes standard in a great looking metallic charcoal powdercoat finish.

Each intake manifold model has been designed and dyno tested in Southern California to maximize performance at a low cost to the consumer.

Please Note:

5007 manifold is intended for B18C5 engines (type R) but will also fit B16 (1.6L vtec) & B17 (1.7L vtec)

5007 DOES NOT fit B18C1-GSR (1.8L vtech).
