Default Bar & Plate radiator???

After having some slight overheating issues I decided to order a cheap ebay intercooler.

When I took delivery of the package I almost injured my back trying to cary the box upstairs. the box was really heavy.

well I opened the box..............
to my surprise....

Bar & plate radiator.... WTF....???

I think this is just an intercooler core with honda end tanks.
Anyone thinks this is more or less efficient than a tube fin radiator?
weight is 15.5 lbs.

MAD JDM VTAk ENGINE INTERCOOLER YO!!!!

I've tried using intercooler cores and did not get good results. The coolant passed too fast through it, and not enough surface area fin wise.

well I think it's more efficient than the thin single core radiator I had. The core on the inside are actualy tightly packed. I'll try to get a pic tommorow. But it's still nothing compared to a fluidyne or koyo.

Plus the fact that my downpipe runs right in front of it doesn't help either.
