if your turbo seals are bad would there be oil all around the downpipe. my down pipe is loose because i'm missing some bolts and seems to be smoking from there and from the exhaust but no leaks. at idle it blows white smoke for a minute or two at the most then goes away but that is the only time it smokes. it has gotten significantly worse in the past few days, meaning it happens more frequently now. could it be from a kink in the oil return line. if it could be a kink what would you consider a kink. would it be very noticeable. looks like my return line has a small kink thats why. also it is not a coolant i did a compression test and it was fine and the smoke smells like oil.
