Turbo seals bad already???? white smoke
I have used my Drag gen III kit for no more than 3 weeks. But yet white smoke is coming out of my downpipe. I did a compression test and it was perfect. I looked at where the breather goes and there was no smoke. It seems to smoke a lot at idle and just off idle. It is a white looking smoke.
So could my seals in my turbo be bad already?? I dont know what else would cause smoke to come out of my engine. The engine is fairly new.
How could I check the turbo?? or anything else??
Any ideas guys?
Thanks

Re: Turbo seals bad already???? white smoke (TurboIntegra)
It could be your return line. If it had bends or anything of that sort it will cause oil build up in the turbo housing. Try to have your return line as straight down as possible and the tap in the oil pan as high as possible to eliminate oil build up.
If you want to check your turbo, try making sure that your compressor wheel doesn't shake when you move it side to side with the intake pipe off. Just make sure your car is off .

White smoke is associated with antifreeze, so if U see white it should be checked immediately. Blue smoke indicates that U are burning oil. Is your turbo water and oil cooled, or just oil cooled?
