can running rich make the O2 sensor go bad? i used half a tank of gas to go less than 40 miles and car was hesitating when i was off the throttle, i have 310cc, 255lph intank pump, drag III kit

its good

 

yes running rich will shorten the life of the o2 senor. As will running high octane race gas.

 

I only run 94 octane in my car

 

i dont think the high octane alone will affect the o2 sensor as much as some race fuel containing lead.

 

how do you know when the O2 sensor is bad???

Is there a voltage test or something you can perform on it??

 

Check engine light.
