bad bov question

Default bad bov question

i have a bov from a no name company i bough from some guys junk garage for 5 bucks, now the spring on it doesnt have much pressure and i can pretty push it up without too much force. does this mean its bad or its suppose to be like that.
btw im planning on using it for 9psi on a t3

its supposed to be like that. The boost pressure from the vauum line you hook up to it will put pressure on the opposite side if the valve, forcing it shut
