Default backpressure and nitrous?

is nitrous the same as a turbo charged setup, the less back pressure the better or no? i wouldnt think so but on the zex site i saw their hatch with the stock z6 motor and stock exhaust besides a muffler ran a 13.5 with a 75 shot , but they eliminated the cat and used a test pipe so why would they do that?

with nitrous the bigger the exhaust the better, becaouse it expands so much in the combustion chamber.
