Default B20B or B20Z or They The Same? Different? Help Please


Alright I was searching around and didn't find **** beside this one"https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1485632" Like the topic say...Is it the same or different? I was thinking doin a b20(?)/vtec turbo...So please leave some feedback

The b has lower cr than the z, don't remember what the actual numbers are offhand. So if you are set on boosting a b20 and leaving it completely stock, the go with the b20b.

Why not just go ls turbo?? Cheaper and thicker sleeves. GL.

Did lsvtec turbo already, I want to do b20 this time but goin to be fully built like no other...My goal is to be around the 10 second section, Low or High dosent matter at least it in the 10 zone. Yea if im doin the b20 imma sleeved it. Thank for you feedback, any more?

Don't quote me on this but I think the B20Z has nothing to do with the other Bseries due to the head bolt pattern.

If it is going to be fully built, it doesn't matter if you start with the LS or B20 motor.

They basically the same but are different for HP and CR numbers, the b20b has an 8.8:1 CR while the b20z is about 9.6:1CR i think, as well Hp is 126 (b), and 146 (z) well the jdm one is 146, i think the usdm b20z is just 140, but tq is the same at 133.
