the heads are not identical- some are p75, some are p8 ect
It doesnt matter though- they will work just fine. Whats your setup?

i think u would be better off with a LS top end, that way u dont have to worry about things like this and u get rid of that bad intake manifold.

Or even better, get a vtec head yada yada yada...................

?? thats a terrible response.

First off, theres a chance you have the p8r head, which is desirable.
Secondly, if hes worried about bad intake manifold design, why not just swap out a intake manifold, instead of pulling a head and swapping it.

he asked a question, not asking for suggestions.

o ya my setup is a 93 GS DA with a B20B Boosted i havent got the swap yet because i wanna build up the B20 first im not a big LS/Vtec or B20/Vtec guy if it has vtec it has it if not then it doesnt so i just wanna build the head get some stronger rods and forged 9:1 compresson pistons but any one have any hints for this swap i heard you just swap B20 head and block from the LS head and block and everything else just bolst right up anyon with experience?

well unless you plan on sleeving, dont buy a b20-
You said your looking to do pistons and rods- why not just do a LS motor- there cheap, and for higher hp applications such as what your describing (400+) the b20 will need sleeving-

the p8r head flows much better, due to bigger valves

Fair enough- im just saying since you dont actually have the swap yet, it may be beneficial to go the other way-

and im gona have to call BS on the 600whp b20 running just a blockguard. prove me wrong

I stand corrected- I remember seeing that in the b20 thread actually-
but anyways theres plenty of cracked sleeve b20's floating around
like this one recently:

I have a b20 myself- I just understand that i have got to be careful about it-

regardless get it tuned right and enjoy
