Default B18c1 Turbo Setup

Hi all, I'm a noo-b in the turbo scene..and i got some questions for yall..well pretty soon, i'm gonna be boostin my b18c1 (gsr) in my eg hatch..and i wanna know what other parts do i need to complete my custom turbo-kit besides the parts that i listed below??..also, how much boost can a stock gsr bottom end take daily driven and safely??..and should i run a 2.5" or 3" downpipe?? i'm gonna get a universal muffler but dont knoe if a 2.5" inlet muffler would make a difference compare to a 3" inch inlet muffler..so what do you guys suggest?? also, i have no clue about what fuel system, etc..etc..so plz give me some advice..Thanks alot..

ok, you can run 12psi safely if it's tuned right. Obviously for fuel, i would recommend the hondata S200, that's what's been recommended to me and i should be seeing a hopeful 600whp on my gsr block. I run 10psi daily on my car now due to lack of fuel. For 12psi i would recommend a inline pro headgasket. I think the 3"dp would be fine for you. I would step up to the tial bov, the greddy is nice, but tial is just so much nicer. For your exhaust, if you can afford it, get a custom 3" made, run a resonator and a 3" muffler, any universal will do. If not, stock will be fine for now.I'll give you my setup, and you can just pick stuff if you like. B18C1 block, ge sleeved, arias pistons, eagle rods. Stock gsr head. Turbo, Precision T4 60-1, inline pro manifold, 3"dp, tial bov and wastegate, greddy type 24 intercooler, greddy evo exhaust. Fuel, 12:1 fmu, 440's, safc, 255lph intank pump. That's it, have fun.

well in terms of what ur missing, you need oil lines and stuff. If it's all custom... just check ur setup against mine... i have a list of like EVERYTHING I needed for my install.

Turbo Kit:
>Turbocharger
>Turbo Manifold
>Downpipe
>Piping
>Intercooler
>Blow Off Valve
>Wastegate (If not internal wastegate turbo)

Fuel System:
>fuel pump
>550 injectors
>hondata s200

Electronics & Gauges:

>Turbo Timer
>EGT Gauge
>A/F Ratio Gauge
>Boost Gauge
>Gauge Pod
>2-step colder plugs

Miscellaneous:
>Oil Feed Kit:
- Brass 1/8" NPT Tee Fitting
- 4ft of -4AN hose
- 1ft of -4AN hose
- (4) -4AN straight steel hose ends
- (2) aluminum 1/8" NPT to 4AN fittings
- 90 Degree 1/8" NPT to 4AN fitting
- Steel 1/8" NPT to 4AN fitting
- (2) Earl's 1/8" NPT to -4AN adapter
- 1/8 in. NPT to 1/8 in. BSPT Adapter
>Vacuum hoses

>Silicone couplers
>Oil Drain Flange
>Blow Off Valve Flange
>-10AN Oil Return Line Kit
>Turbine Housing Inlet Gasket
>Turbine Housing Discharge Gasket
>Garrett Oil Drain Gasket
>Wastegate Flange (if necessary)
>Wastegate Gaskets (2) (if necessary)
>1/2" NPT to -10AN adapter
>-10 AN male, steel, natural finish weld fitting
>Exhaust Maniold Gasket
>Oil Pan Gasket
You should really think about building up your bottom end or only boosting 10lbs on the street.. even if it is properly tuned, its always better to be safe then sorry.

Yes, 12psi on pump gas is doable, just wouldn't push more than that. Also, nine just did a hell of a job going into detail so no need for me to now
