Default b18c +s2s2 + nitrous ok?

I may buy a 96 civic with a GSR swap. It has a password jdm carbon fiber intake, full 2.5 inch straight through exhaust, p28 ecu chipped, skunk2 valve springs and retainers, port and polished, and some suspension work.

My question: Can I get sunk2 stage 2 cams, AND a wet nitrous kit as long as I have it tuned with neptune of crome or something? How much do you think I could use? I would want the car to be reliable... and I know not to use nitrous too much.

Or would it be best to save up for forged pistons, rods and maybe skunk2 valves just to top it off? I guess that would depend on how much I injected.

So then also I guess what would be safe with s2s2 cams, and stock bottom end? What would be safe with built bottom end? If I were to build it what compression ratio would be ideal?

Thanks

i think the s2s2 cams bring the max power to high for a stock shortblock. you will get the urge to rev above 10k with those babies. if you use a wet nitrous kit you can tune with just with the jets but proper timing curve adjustments with some sort of management would be better and safer.

ok so skunk2 stage 2 cams, wet nitrous kit for more low-mid range power since I would be running stock bottom end for awhile and wouldn't be able to rev to 10k rpms and then tuning with crome on a p28 ecu. Sound good?

you dont really want to use nitrous for low-mid power.

Ok so s2s2 cams, tune with crome, be patient until I can build my bottom end with high compression pistons and forged rods? I think that may be the plan .
