Default B18C Block Decking. How Much??!!!!!!

Hi guys

I'd be really grateful if you could help me out with my build. There's a tiny amount of surface pitting on the deck of my B18C block, where the steel liners meet the aluminium. I'd like to have the surface skimmed because I don't want this to cause headgasket failure in the future. How much can be safely removed without worrying about the pistons hitting the head???

I have measured the piston to deck clearance (CP pistons) and it's currently 0.012". I'm going to be using the stock ITR head and stock Honda head gasket.

But how much can be safely removed from the block without having clearance issues? I'd rather keep the stock Honda head gasket. As I said I will be using the stock ITR head too. That's currently on the car at the moment so I can't measure how much clearance there is in the combustion chamber.

Got this sorted now guys. It's off to the machine shop next week to have the required safe amount removed from the block. I will still be using a OEM Honda head gasket too ;-)
