Default B18c or B20B

Hi guys ,just wondering would anyone give me advise or what would be the best build, here goes

iv got a 1989 honda crx, with b18c stock internals,b16a,custom intake plenum, runing tdo5 turbo,so and so, im going to forge the motor with cp piston and eagle h beam rods, with a garret gt 35/40 r turbo ,running prob apexi power fc or chrome, but im thinking if i should use a b20b block and forged that or should i stick with my b18c ,i want more power from my motor

cheers any iinfo is much apreciated

you're going to need to resleeve a b20 to handle a lot of power. or have a very good tune with it. stick with your b18c and resleeve/overbore that if you want extra displacement.

how much power do u want to make, unless u sleeve one of those blocks you wont be able to use the 35r to its fullest potential. if u dont want to sleeve it i would suggest going with a 30r to maximize the powerband.

300 kw is only about 400 horsepower. People have done around 650 whp on stock B18 sleeves, or about 485 kW. A sleeved block from Golden Eagle will run you 950 USD plus shipping, without a core. I'd probably ditch the GT35R and pickup a 30R as well, and put forged pistons/rods into your B18C block. I would not trust stock B20 sleeves at 300kW.
