Default B18B w/ JRSC??

I was wondering if any of you know if the B18B with stock internals can handle a JRSC with the stage 1 boost upgrade which is like 8-10psi I think, and also if you have any experience with this setup let me know how it works. Thanks

JRSC's own prelude runs 11 or 12 I believe...so I'd assume it would last...don't see why it wouldn't.....

If you have an Ls I wouldnt put a SC on it. If you had a gsr that would be a different story.

The M45 blower that is included for the B18A/B kit is too small for that engine, IMO. That is the same blower that is used on the D16 and Miata engines. Several people have successfully adapted the larger M62 blower (used on all of the VTEC engines) to the B18A/B with very good results. Go over to Hostboard and look around there. They are predominantly a JRSC crowd.

JRSC is weak on the b18b. I really wanted to go that route a few months back and did a shitload of research on it, in the end I decided to go turbo. If you're going to spend that much $$$ on FI, go turbo(5-7 PSI) on stock internals or build your internals and go big N2O - A jrsc b18b just can't hang.

If you want to know more about JRSC go to this link...

Almost everyone has a JRSC there.

I was in your same boat for months researching about the jrsc on a b18b.... look at my sig to see where I ended up and I don't regret it one bit.
